April

  • April 10-12: The Rods and Racks Rally

    Reel in the excitement with a lakeside fishing tournament and an adventurous antler hunt along the nature trail.

  • April 16-19: The "Un-Hiberbation" Celebration: Featuring Mississippi Pearl!

    Kick off the season with a chili cook-off, live music from Mississippi Pearl, specialty drinks, and fundraising fun supporting Care Camp.

  • April 24-26: Roots and Renewal Weekend

    Celebrate nature at Roots & Renewal Weekend with hands-on activities like birdhouse making, tree planting, a new nature trail opening, and releasing caterpillars into our butterfly garden—all part of our new green park initiatives.

May

  • May 1-3: H2O Here We Go! Pools open!

    Dive into summer with a huge pool party, BBQ dinner, cannonball championship, and splash-filled waterslide races.

  • May 8-10: Pic-a-nic with Mom Weekend

    Treat Mom to a special weekend with Sip & Paint, bracelets, cookie decorating, movie night, karaoke, and a delicious Mother’s Day pancake breakfast.

  • May 15-17: Camp Jungle Quest

    Embark on a wild adventure with a jungle-themed golf cart parade, safari wagon ride, Jungle Book outdoor movie, and campfire storytelling with s’mores.

  • May 22-25: Heroes Campfire Kickoff

    Show off your talents in our talent show, join the Memorial Day golf cart parade, and enjoy a pool party, games, and friendly competitions.

  • May 29-31: Campground Color Splash Weekend

    Race through the Trail of Colors Fun Run and get messy with colorful slime-making activities.

June

  • June 5-7: Boo Boo™ Dino Birthday

    Celebrate Boo Boo™ with dino egg relays, fossil digs, birthday crafts, and a glow-in-the-dark dino egg hunt.

  • June 12-14: Chocolate Splash Bash

    Indulge in chocolate mayhem with a slip-n-slide, human sundae fun, candy bar bingo, and a chocolate pie–eating contest.

  • June 19-21: Father's Day

    Compete in the fishing derby, sample summer brews, and challenge Dad to a friendly cornhole tournament.

  • June 26-28: Under the Sea - Water Wars: With a LIVE Mermaid!

    Make a splash with a live mermaid visit, slip-n-slide kickball, water war wagon rides, tug-of-war, and our beloved cannonball contest.

July

  • July 3-6: Red, White and Boo Boo™ Bash (Fourth of July)

    Celebrate the Fourth of July at the Red, White and Boo Boo™ Bash! Join us for a 250th birthday party for America featuring a red, white, and blue costume contest, golf cart parade, pie eating contest, greased watermelon pool relay, slip-n-slide, DJ dance party, karaoke, three-legged race, and cornhole tournament—plus a spectacular fireworks show to cap it all off!

  • July 10-12: Yogi Bear™ Big Top Birthday Bash

    Step into the circus with balloon animals, glitter tattoos, carnival booths, cotton candy, and a lively birthday dance party.

  • July 17-19: Shipwrecked - Pirates and Mermaids (Water Wars): With a LIVE Mermaid!

    Prepare for splashtastic pirate fun, a live mermaid visit, and the thrilling 2nd Annual Cardboard Boat Regatta.

  • July 24-26: Christmas in July

    Celebrate holiday cheer with ornament making, cookie exchanges, caroling rides, a hot chocolate bar, and a melted snowball fight.

  • August 7-9: Outcamp, Outplay, Outwin- Who will win the Ultimate Campground Challenge?

    Compete in obstacle courses, puzzles, and survival-style games to see who becomes the campground champion.

  • August 14-16: Cocoa Chaos Campout

    A weekend of chocolate fun returns with slip-n-slides, human sundaes, candy bar bingo, and chocolate pie–eating showdowns.

  • August 21-23: Luau at the Lake

    Enjoy tropical fun with a sandcastle contest, poolside limbo, luau golf cart parade, and festive hula relay.

  • August 28-30: Bark in the Park

    Pamper your pets with a welcome station, bandana crafts, dog walks, a K9 costume parade, and photo ops with a Bear.

September

  • September 4-7: End of Summer Splash Bash: Labor Day

    Close out summer with tie-dye, Minute to Win It games, slip-n-slide kickball, and shaving cream wiffle ball.

  • September 11-13: Country Music Fall Kickoff

    Enjoy fall fun with a petting zoo, live country music, and delicious food trucks.

  • September 18-20: Fall Chili Cookoff: Featuring Mississippi Pearl!

    Warm up with a chili cook-off, enjoy Mississippi Pearl live, sip specialty drinks, and help raise funds for Care Camp.

  • September 25-27: Cauldrons and Campfires: Halloween!

    Experience Halloween magic with a haunted trail, contests, trick-or-treating, pumpkin fun, tie-dye, and the dramatic Burning of the Witch’s Hut.

  • October 2-4: The Lost Campers Ghost Hunt: Halloween!

    Join the spooky fun with the haunted trail, contests, trick-or-treating, pumpkin crafts, and the Burning of the Witch’s Hut.

  • October 9-11: Webs of Terror: Halloween!

    Get tangled in Halloween excitement with the haunted trail, costume contests, trick-or-treating, site decorating, and more.

  • October 16-18: Campground of the Living Dead: Halloween!

    Step into a zombie-themed Halloween as you enjoy the haunted trail, glow party, contests, and magical pumpkin planting.

  • October 23-25: CarnEVIL at the Campground: Halloween!

    End the season with a frightfully fun carnival twist featuring the haunted trail, contests, trick-or-treating, pumpkin crafts, and the Burning of the Witch’s Hut.

The kids loved seeing Yogi and BooBoo! The “heyride” was fun, as was the jumping pillow! Loved the pool and the beach! New and remodeled bathhouses were super! The grass was nicely mown. Friendly staff. Had a wonderful time!​

What a great family campground! The lake and beach area was clean and so fun with the inflatable slide and trampoline. The pool was very nice as well. Great activities planned for kids and special visits from yogi and boo boo. Nice spots to camp and the staff was all very kind and helpful. Will definitely be back.​

This is the first time I've ever been to this park and all I can say is AWESOME !!! They have a very cool water obstacle course in the lake, fishing, canoeing, cabins to rent, an in ground swimming pool, giant bouncy pillow and more. We'll most certainly go back. I give this place 5 out of 5 stars. It's definitely worth your while to go there.

We stayed Saturday to Wednesday and rented the boo boos and they were perfect!! We really enjoyed our selves and the staff was awesome and very friendly!! We definitely will be back!!

We've been twice with a group of friends and even though our latest trip got rained out it's a great campground. All the facilities, even portable ones are clean, so much for the kids to do and lovely camp sites on the lake. I expect our family will make this an annual destination.
